Three days of activities at King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture to celebrate Eid Al-Adha

Three days of events are being held at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture to commemorate Eid Al-Adha.

Visitors of all ages can take part in over 31 events with the theme "ribbons of giving" from June 7–9. These events include storytelling, music, games, and workshops. Many of the activities will be in Arabic but all are welcome.

A performance by Egyptian oud virtuoso Islam Al-Qasabgy, who is known for fusing modern and classical Arabic music, at the Ithra Theater will be one of the highlights.

Ithra Cinema will screen the Japanese animated fantasy film "Kiki's Delivery Service" with Arabic subtitles and include the Japanese manga character Chibi Maruko-chan.

"Saleeq," a brief animated picture about a lonely grandma who encounters a flood after a pot of rice boils over, will also be seen.

A 96-kilometer hike along the ancient Hajj trail, which resurrects tales of perseverance and giving that have been passed down through the ages, is one of the other joyous offers.

Although the center is free to enter, some activities require a ticket. The center will be open during the Eid celebrations from 4 to 11 p.m.
