Authorities have emphasized that travelers to Saudi Arabia carrying controlled substances must secure an online clearance permit prior to their arrival.
Anyone bringing such drugs into the country is required to obtain the permit through https://cds.sfda.gov.sa. The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has notified all airlines and travel agencies that this regulation will be fully enforced starting November 1.
