Saudi Arabia has opened Umrah visa applications for the 1448 AH season from May 31, following the conclusion of this year’s Hajj.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said international pilgrims can begin arriving in the Kingdom from today, with the season running until March 23, 2027. Pilgrims can obtain Umrah permits through the Nusuk app, Saudi Arabia’s unified platform for pilgrimage services and bookings.
The final date for issuing Umrah visas is March 9, 2027 (Shawwal 1, 1448 AH). Pilgrims must enter Saudi Arabia by March 23 and leave the Kingdom by April 7, 2027.
Saudi Arabia has expanded digital Umrah services through the Nusuk platform, introducing electronic permits, automated procedures and QR code verification. The Kingdom is also enhancing transport and hospitality infrastructure to accommodate growing pilgrim numbers under Vision 2030.
