Annual flower festival will be starting in Yanbu on February 15, featuring bird and butterfly gardens and varied activities

Beginning on February 15, Yanbu will have its yearly flower festival, which will include a variety of events for both domestic and foreign fans, as well as gardens dedicated to birds and butterflies. According to the organisers, the exhibition, which takes place at Yanbu Industrial City's Celebration Park until March 9, will feature a variety of vibrant floral landscapes created by young Saudi gardeners.

The festival has already been recognised by Guinness World Records for many submissions, one of which was for the biggest floral carpet ever.

The principal developer and sponsor, JABEEN Co., the investment arm of the Royal Commission, said that there will be many pavilions exhibiting gardening services, flower and butterfly gardens, and strawberry cultivation. To support this area of the local economy, the festival gives local businesses a platform to display their goods and services.

More than two thousand members of the community have volunteered their time to help set up and publicise the exhibition. They have received training in many facets of event planning.
