AlUqair Beach will host Ramliyah, Saudi Arabia’s first family-focused beach sports festival, from November 25 to 29. The five-day event will turn the historic coast into a hub of sports, wellness, and family entertainment, running daily from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. with free entry and over SR200,000 in prizes. Held under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, the festival supports Vision 2030’s goal of promoting an active, healthy lifestyle.
The festival will feature men’s and women’s beach soccer, volleyball, and handball competitions run by SAFF, with local teams vying for medals and cash prizes. Guests can enjoy a Fan Zone, wellness activities, live music, diverse food options, and beach sport taster sessions hosted by Saudi sports federations. A major attraction is the Sports For All (SFA) Active Program for participants under 18, designed to encourage fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment through engaging sports activities.
Ramliyah runs from November 19–23, open daily 2 p.m.–10 p.m. at AlUqair Beach. Free shuttles will operate from Al-Khobar and Al-Hofuf. All visitors and tournament participants must register in advance at https://qrfy.io/p/9E3kg7FCC1
