The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries' nationals can now undertake Umrah at any time of the year, with admission allowed by all land, air, and sea ports, according to a statement released by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The official Nusuk application is a straightforward way to receive permits for Umrah.
The decision is a part of the Kingdom's continuous efforts to improve pilgrims' overall experience and expedite pilgrimage procedures.
These actions have also made it possible for nationals and non-citizens of GCC nations to do Umrah with a variety of visa. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' official portal (ksavisa.sa) offers tourist visas, transit visas issued in collaboration with Saudi Airlines and Flynas (saudia.com and flynas.com), and Umrah visas via nusuk.sa.
All pilgrims, citizens or residents, must first obtain a permit using the Nusuk app in order to enter the holy places. This permit is needed for Umrah and prayer in the Rawdah Al Sharifah, the Prophet's Mosque in Medina's hallowed chamber.
International pilgrims were once again granted Umrah visas by Saudi Arabia on June 10. Permits for Nusuk Umrah were first issued by the ministry on June 11.
