Riyadh is set to host the third Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC) on January 26–27, 2026, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development confirmed that the event will be held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center.
Taking place under the theme “Future in Progress,” the conference will gather global policymakers, business leaders, labor specialists, and international organizations to explore the evolving world of work and the challenges shaping labor markets worldwide.
The 2026 edition will include participation from more than 45 international ministers and will feature a dedicated Ministerial Roundtable focused on global labor policy. Discussions will span six major themes, including the influence of AI and shifting global trade on employment, emerging skill requirements, issues in informal labor markets, workforce adaptability, and harmonizing labor trends with human development goals.
Organizers anticipate over 200 speakers and more than 7,000 attendees taking part in 50+ sessions. The conference will also debut new interactive formats such as policy hackathons, themed spotlights, and academic-driven debates.
